Lecar joins ABVE
With the partnership, automaker will expand networking with companies in the sector, suppliers, startups and other players in the electric mobility ecosystem
The union makes the strength. It is based on this premise that Lecar, a Brazilian automaker, has just joined ABVE - Brazilian Association of Electric Vehicles, in a partnership that will allow the company a series of benefits focused on innovation, sustainability and the future of mobility. With this, another step will be taken towards the solidification of a genuinely Brazilian company.
ABVE is an association that, for almost 20 years, has been dedicated to the defense of electromobility and sustainable transport. Its priority is to work with the authorities and business entities related to the automotive sector to make decisions that encourage the development and use of electric vehicles (EVs). In addition to promoting the use of these models in the country, its mission is to make the transport of people and cargo cleaner and more efficient, for the benefit of the well-being of the population, the environment and its associates.
Currently, with about 130 associates, the arrival of Lecar to ABVE was celebrated by Ricardo Bastos, who association President. “We are very pleased with the association with ABVE of a Brazilian automotive company. We are a plural entity, and one of our main objectives is to foster and welcome the innovation and initiative of Brazilian entrepreneurs in sustainable transport. In this sense, and always focusing on the mission of making the transport of people and cargo cleaner and more efficient, we are proud of this partnership with Lecar that, with its new products, will certainly contribute significantly for the transformation of mobility in our country”, highlighted.
Among the extensive range of benefits that the association with ABVE provides to its members, stand out the access to market studies, data on sales, technological trends, participation in decisions on regulation of public policies related to the electric and hybrid vehicles sector as tax incentives subsidies and charging infrastructure, in addition to the deep exchange of experiences and networking opportunities with other companies in the sector, suppliers, startups and other players of the electric mobility ecosystem.
Technically, the the association will also provide support to the automaker in regulatory and legal issues related to the production and marketing of electric vehicles in Brazil, understanding of safety standards, vehicle approval, certifications, among other aspects necessary for success in the market. All this, driving Lecar to become an player active and leader in the transition to cleaner mobility, especially at a time when the demand for sustainable solutions is growing globally.
In synergy with these purposes, the same sentiment is shared by Flavio Figueiredo Assis, founder of Lecar. “We are proud to be part of ABVE.
